Upper Manya Kro Community Bank Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company under the Company’s Code of 1963 (Act 179) on October 28, 1982. It was granted license to operate as a financial institution effective March 3, 1984 in accordance with the Banking Act of 1970.

The Head Office of the Bank is located at Ase­sewa in the Upper Manya Krobo District in the Eastern Region.

The name of the Bank was changed to Upper Manya Klo Community Bank Plc in June 2024.
