Upper Manya Kro Rural Bank Limited was incorporated as a limited liability company under the Company’s Code of 1963(Act 179) on October 28, 1982. It was granted license to operate as a financial institution effective March 3, 1984 in accordance with the Banking Act of 1970.

The Head Office of the Bank is located at Asesewa in the Upper Manya Krobo District in the Eastern Region.
